Keith, a leather artisan, started the journey with leather at 15 as a stockman in Victoria. As a self-taught craftsman in his early 20's was selling leather goods at various Sydney markets and fairs. On moving to Western Australia continued with leather production, both full-time and part-time depending on the economic environment.
Keith's time in WA was a 30+ year journey with participation in many and varied events, plus other occupations. Some of the more interesting being.Albany Handmade exhibitions, Denmark Arts Market, Ballingup Medievil Festival, Co-ordinator Esperance Village Markets, Sports and Craft instructor at an Independent School Esp. Also a member and exhibitor with the Great Southern Art Trail WA.
Keith is now retired to beautiful Garden Island Creek and making leather items just for the joy of it. Small commissions accepted depending on the work involved, but sorry no saddlery or harness work, as stated Keith has retired.
To see Keith's quaint and quirky studio will be an added bonus.
