Cam McKenzie’s breads are all authentic sourdoughs made completely by hand and baked in a wood-fired oven.

All of Cam's breads are made using organic, chemical free and Tasmanian-milled flours, including flour grown and freshly stone milled by Thorpe Farm in Bothwell.

Everthing in the bakery is made in house...all pastries, cakes, pies, sauces, jams and fillings...and the gelato too!

The Lotus Eaters Cafe

The Lotus Eaters Cafe

The Lotus Eaters Cafe

Evolving from its surrounds Lotus Eaters has become a busy and bountiful nook on the main drag of Mary Street Cygnet. This small cornucopic café is fuelled by a team of great women and driven by the abundance of beautiful produce that encompasses the country town of Cygnet.

We make almost everything ourselves, sourcing the best local and seasonal produce we can find - always using free range meats, eggs and locally grown veggies and herbs. Everything we make is made in our small café fresh for that day - we sometimes run out of things, so it is always good to book and get in early - especially for brekki.

Open 9am-4pm, Friday to Monday
