Handmade in Cygnet will be at Location 1, the Port Cygnet Scout Hall, on Burton’s Reserve.
We can:
• Provide information about the Studio Art Trail 2025
• Introduce you to the work of our artists
Woolcraft Spinning Group

The wool comes from local paddocks; sheep and alpaca. Silk is also used and some of the fibres get dyed. They are then knitted into all sorts of products including beanies and jumpers.
A sample spinning wheel will be available to have a go!
Artists on the Handmade in Cygnet Studio Art Trail 2025
From their very varied creative spaces the artists taking part in this year’s studio art trail are producing works of national and international renown.
We would like congratulate David and Michelle Rauenbach, of Phoenix Creations, for becoming Fellowship recipients. At the recent @losttrades in Victoria, the announcement was made that Michelle and David were the 2025 Wille Sundqvist & Bill Coperthwaite Slöjd Fellowship recipients. They couldn’t be happier and are already mentally planning an international trip next year. Their Studio is at location 11. Go and see them at work on the spoon carving creations.

We would like to congratulate Richard Stanley, of Stanley’s Studio/Gallery, on his recent winnings: the People’s Choice Award at the Geeveston Art Show and a highly commended for oil painting at the Huon Art Awards. His Studio is at location 9. Go and see him and his works of art.
