Richard’s reputation for painting beautifully atmospheric Tasmanian landscapes just keeps growing as he continues to win awards such as the ‘Lightwood Bottom Best in Show’ prize at the 2023 Geeveston Art Show. You’re sure to enjoy a wander around his gallery which, built in 1905, was the first general store in Cygnet. With high ceilings, ornate cornices and stained glass entrance doors it is a wonderful space to exhibit artwork.

Richard’s originals are painted with oil paint on stretched canvas and are available for purchase in his gallery. He also reproduces his paintings into Fine Art Prints of various sizes both on quality paper and canvas. Richard is his own ‘quality control officer’ and takes charge of each stage of the printing process. He uses archival inks and prints on high quality paper or canvas. Each print is hand signed by Richard. A large range of fine art prints is stocked in the gallery and, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, Richard will print to order.

As well as seeing Richard’s paintings in his own gallery he is also represented by Seaview Gallery, Queenslcliff, Victoria and by Art2Muse Gallery in Woollahra Sydney.
